WANTED PERSON
September 1, 2023, At 4:30 p.m., Officer Matthew McAvoy in the area of 2nd Street observed Antonio Salinas Hernandez, 53, from Lakewood, NJ with an open alcoholic beverage. Dispatch confirmed an active warrant and Hernandez was given a summons for the open container and arrested for the warrant.

Officer Derek McAvoy assisted in the investigation.

WANTED PERSON
September 1, 2023, At 5 p.m., Officers Derek McAvoy and Matthew McAvoy were in the area of First Street and observed James Dublin, 33, Howell, NJ from previous encounters. Dispatch confirmed an active warrant and he was arrested and processed.

DWI
September 3, 2023, At 1 a.m., Officer Richard Uriarte, responded to a vehicle stopped at the light after a few traffic light cycles. Arturo Meija-Rojas, 33, from Toms River, NJ was arrested for DWI. He was charged with the following: careless driving, Unlicensed Driver, Open Alcoholic Beverage, and DWI.

Sergeant Kevin Marin, and Officers Daniel Hourigan, Michael Sheehan, and Nicholas Romeo assisted with the investigation.

SHOPLIFTING
September 13, 2023, At 3:30 p.m., Officer Joseph Prebish, responded to the area of Rt. 70 Home Depot for a shoplifter in custody. The officer viewed the camera footage and it revealed Alfredo Gonzalez-Soto, 57, from Jackson, NJ left the store without purchasing the items that were in his cart. He was arrested and charged with Shoplifting.

Officer Michael Mooney, JR., assisted in the investigation.

DRUGS
September 4, 2023, At 8:00 p.m., The street crimes unit was in the area of West County Line Rd and observed drug activity. Idequan Allen, 29, Lakewood, NJ was arrested and charged with various CDS charges.
DRUGS
September 5, 2023, At 11:45 p.m., The street crimes unit was in the area of E. County Line Rd., and observed drug activity. Emmanuel Melo, 34, Freehold, NJ was arrested and charged with Possession and Wandering Procuring.
