WANTED PERSON
October 25, 2024, Officer Matthew McAvoy was in the area of 2nd Street when he observed a group of people consuming alcoholic beverages. One individual, Abagrito Vazquez-Martinez, 68, from Lakewood, N.J., was found to have an open container. Dispatch confirmed that there was a warrant for his arrest. The officer then arrested Vazquez-Martinez and took him in for processing; a summons was issued for the open container.
Officers Brian Rodriguez, and Nicholas Florio assisted in the investigation.

DISORDERLY/WANTED PERSON
October 26, 2024, Multiple officers were dispatched to Clifton Avenue due to a reported disorderly incident. Upon arrival, some individuals fled the scene on foot, prompting the police to pursue and detain them for questioning about the situation. One of the individuals, Marcos Almazo-Clemente, 22, from Lakewood, N.J., was confirmed by dispatch to have an outstanding county warrant for his arrest. Almazo-Clemente was charged with hindering apprehension and was transported to the Ocean County Jail.
Sergeants, Michael Conrad, Sherry Jones, Officers Brian Guzman, Richard Uriarte, Michael Villalba, Dawry Desangles, Anthony D’Angelo, Gregory Cannon, and Julian Guzman assisted in the investigation.

DWI
October 28, 2024, Officer Sara Brooks responded to a four-motor vehicle crash witnessed by Officer Dawry Desangeles who was off-duty at the time. Salvador Garcia-Pastrana, 20, from Lakewood, N.J. arrested for DWI and charged with other related offenses.
Sergeant Matthew Rivera, Officers Daniel Debartolomeis, and Joshua Gianoulis assisted in the investigation.

DRUGS
November 3, 2024, Officer Connor Woods was patrolling First Street and Lexington Avenue when he observed two males behaving suspiciously. He recognized this as a high-crime area known for soliciting and distributing narcotics. Continuing his watch, the officer noticed the two males meeting with a female who had previously been arrested for drug-related offenses. During this encounter, Robert Brown, 51, from Lakewood, N.J., exchanged an item and placed it in his pocket. Brown was subsequently arrested for wandering/loitering to obtain CDS and search incident to arrest drugs were found in his possession and charged accordingly.
Officers Robert Meyer Jr., Jacob Matthews, and Marc Rodriguez assisted in the investigation.
