October 5, 2024, Officer Jacob Matthews responded to Clearstream Rd and Hope Chapel Rd for a report of a careless driver. The officer located the vehicle that matched the description and conducted a motor vehicle traffic stop. Piotr Janik, 52, from Howell, N.J. was arrested for DWI
Officers Kyle Seehausen, James Komsa, and Christopher Johnson assisted in the investigation.
WANTED PERSON
October 6, 2024, Officers Dereck McAvoy and Paul McMillian conducted a quality-of-life area check on 2nd St. and observed Francisco Pacheco-Ramirez from previous encounters. Dispatch confirmed an active warrant for drinking in public and he was subsequently arrested.

WANTED PERSON
October 7, 2024, Officer Deon Smith was investigating a recent shoplifting incident at the Wawa on E. County Line Rd., with Officer Eric Vega assisting in the investigation. Two male suspects were present, and one matched the shoplifter’s description. Samuel Padilla, 37, from Toms River, N.J., was arrested for shoplifting. During the investigation, dispatch also confirmed an outstanding out-of-state warrant for Padilla.
DRUGS
October 7, 2024, Officer Connor Woods was patrolling the area of Monmouth Avenue and 3rd Street when he observed Gregory Brown, 54, of Lakewood, N.J., riding his bicycle. Dispatch confirmed an active warrant for Brown, and he was subsequently taken into custody. During a search conducted incident to arrest, drugs were found on Brown, leading to additional charges being filed against him.
