WANTED PERSON
September 6, 2024, Officer Frank Cristiano was in the area of 2nd Street when he observed Isai Aguilar-Romero, 34, from Lakewood, N.J. Dispatch confirmed a local warrant for drinking in public and was subsequently arrested.
Officers Jeffrey Emmons and Joseph Soriano assisted in the investigation.
DWI
September 7, 2024, Officer Sean Capper observed an erratic vehicle in the roadway in the area of Central Avenue. The officer conducted a motor vehicle traffic stop. Alan Flores-Mendoza, 20, from Lakewood N.J. was arrested for DWI. He was charged with Careless Driving, Reckless Driving among other related charges.
Officers Gregory Cannon and Nicholas Cusanelli assisted in the investigation.
RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE
September 11, 2024, Officer Robert Meyer Jr. and Officer Ryan Pollina responded to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission regarding an attempted vehicle registration with an altered title. The officers spoke with an investigator who explained that the vehicle in question was parked in the lot. When the investigator checked the vehicle’s VIN, it was found to match the altered title VIN. Additionally, the vehicle was confirmed to be stolen when checked with the Board Diagnostic. The officers confirmed with dispatch and Jonathan Carrasco-Zanabria, 28, from Toms River, N.J. was subsequently arrested. He was charged with criminal simulation, forgery, and theft of means of conveyance.
DWI/MVA CRASH
September 12, 2024, Officer Wendell Hunter responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of W. County Line Rd. Kaila Trost, 33, from Toms River, N.J. was arrested for DWI and charged with other related offenses.
Sergeant Edgardo Vega, Officers Sean Capper, and Brian Guzman assisted in the investigation.
