TRESPASSING
July 26, 2024, Officer Jacob Matthews responded to a report that Shatima Brown, 34, from Lakewood, N.J., had trespassed at 136 Martin Luther King Drive. She had previously been banned from the Lakewood Plaza housing complexes. Ms. Brown was issued a special complaint for 2C:18-3B for defiant trespass.

Officers Joseph Mandelbaum and Bryan Rodriguez assisted in the investigation.

DWI
July 28, 2024, Officer Adam Rihacek patrolled the WAWA parking lot on E. County Line Rd and observed an idling vehicle. He found Asael Carbajal, 32, from Brick, NJ, in the driver’s seat, he was charged with DWI and charged with reckless driving, and careless driving.

Officer Anthony Prisco assisted in the investigation.

DRUGS
July 29, 2024, Officer Connor Woods patrolled the railroad tracks and observed Daniel Boffoli, 38, from Jackson, N.J. in a hand-to-hand transaction then left the area in his vehicle. The officer conducted a motor vehicle stop and Boffoli was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of narcotics and possession/Drug paraphernalia. He was brought into headquarters for processing.

Officers Sean Ward, Paul McMillan, and Robert Meyer Jr. assisted in the investigation.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
August 5, 2024, Officer Nicholas Meyer responded to a male who smashed a parked vehicle’s window. Alejandro Penuela-Morales, 30, from Lakewood, N.J. was found next to the vehicle with lacerations to his hands and he was bleeding. Upon further inquiry by the Officers at the scene and glass imbedded in Morales’s hands he was subsequently arrested for Criminal Mischief.

Officers Nicholas Romeo, Daniel Hourigan, Michael Villalba, and Anthony Prisco assisted in the investigation.
