DWI
July 17, 2024, Officers responded to Alamitos Drive and Laguna Lane for a careless driver in the area. A vehicle description was given and the officers located the driver, Alexander Ramirez De Rosa, 22, from Lakewood, N.J. He was arrested for DWI and charged with reckless, careless, and other related summonses.

Officers Jon Pederson, Freddie Torres, Eric Micallef, Vincent Wittmann, and Cory Maliff assisted in the investigation.

OBSTRUCTION/WANTED PERSON
On July 23, 2024, Officers were called to E. County Line Rd. to investigate a suspect who had been involved in a previous vehicle theft in the area. The officers were provided with an alias, but further investigation revealed the suspect’s true identity as Fernando Osario, 21, from Lakewood, N.J. Dispatch confirmed that there was a warrant out for his arrest for burglary and hindering, he was subsequently taken into custody for the warrant and charged with obstruction.

Officers Nicholas Meyer, Connor Woods, Robert Meyer Jr., Brandon Giuliano, and Felix Rivera assisted in the investigation.

DISORDERLY
July 24, 2024, Officers were conducting an area check on 2nd Street when they observed Eugenio Diaz, 57, from Lakewood, N.J., causing a disturbance by yelling, screaming, and flailing his arms. The officers advised him to calm down, as his behavior was alarming the patrons supporting local businesses, and children present. Diaz did not comply and was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct. He was brought to headquarters for processing.

Officers Joseph Soriano, Jeffrey Emmons, and Kevin Seunath assisted in the investigation.

SHOPLIFTING
July 25, 2024, Officers responded to WAWA on E. County Line Rd for a report of shoplifting. The store clerk said the shoplifter fled on foot and showed the officers the video surveillance footage of the suspect committing the crime. After searching the area, the officers located Ravinandan Singh, aged 25, from Howard Beach, N.Y., with the stolen items. Singh was subsequently arrested and charged with shoplifting and other related offenses.

Officers Michael Milano, Adam Rihacek, Brian Guzman, Daniel Spagnuolo, and Sean Capper assisted in the investigation.
