DWI
May 8, 2024, at midnight, Officer Nicholas Cusanelli responded to Clover St. for a male with an open alcoholic beverage exiting a vehicle. The officer located the male as per the witness’s description at the scene. Carlos Romani-Collahuacho, 40, from Toms River, N.J. was arrested for DWI and charged with related offenses.

Officers Michael Milano, Leomaxi Dilone, Nicholas Romeo, and John Ganley assisted in the investigation.

THEFT
May 8, 2024. at 8 p.m., Officer Felix Rivera responded to a report of a theft that occurred at Chemed Health. During the investigation, the victim reported that their wallet was taken from the workstation. They also received a notification that their bank card was being utilized at a local convenience store. Subsequently, another victim reported a theft at the same location, and their bank card was also being used at the local convenience store. Officer Rivera and Officers Nicholas Romeo, Daniel Spagnuolo, and Bryan Vega were able to view the camera footage, which revealed the crime. Erika Martinez, 40, from Lakewood, N.J. was arrested for theft and charged with related offenses.

WANTED PERSON
May 9, 2024, at 4 p.m., Officer Joseph Mandelbaum was in the area of Hurley Avenue, and observed Melvin Ozoria, 33, from Lakewood, N.J. from previous encounters. Dispatch confirmed an active warrant, and he was subsequently arrested.

WANTED PERSON
May 9, 2024, at 4:30 p.m., Officers Matthew McAvoy and Nadine Clarke were in the area of 166 Main Street and observed Georgette Smith, 45, from Tinton Falls, N.J. from previous encounters. Dispatch confirmed an active warrant, and she was subsequently arrested.
