DWI
August 12, 2023, At 9 pm, Officer Leonardo Shimonovich was dispatched to 2nd Street and Lexington Avenue where the Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch (LCSW) observed a reckless driver. Shimonovich arrested Pascual Gonzalezuribe, 21, from Toms River, NJ for DWI and charged him with the following: DWI, Open Alcoholic Beverage, Unlicensed Driver, Careless Driving and Reckless Driving.
Officers Joseph Rusk, Byran Rodriguez, Jacob Matthews, and Lorenzo Camacho assisted in the investigation.
WARRANT
August 11, 2023, At 3 pm, Officer Matthew McAvoy in the area of 2nd Street and Clifton Avenue and observed Imana Montgomery, 34, from Lakewood, NJ from previous interactions. Dispatched confirmed an active warrant and was arrested and processed.
Officers Sal Reyes, Gary Weaver, Leonardo Shimonovich, and Nadine Clarke assisted in the investigation.
DRUGS
August 13, 2023, At 11:30 PM, Officer Michael Sheehan was patrolling in the area of Lexington Avenue and observed Jason Barone, 39, from Lakewood, NJ from previous interactions. Officer Sheehan kept a visual of Barone as he displayed drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged with the following: Possession of Narcotic, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
