March 4 – Crash Investigation Leads to Arrests for Obstruction and Outstanding Warrants
Officers responding to a motor vehicle crash on Brewers Bridge Road encountered conflicting stories between the involved parties. A 47-year-old woman initially claimed to be the driver responsible for the accident but later provided an implausible account involving an unknown man. Officers identified the actual driver, a 36-year-old man, and issued multiple motor vehicle summonses. The 47-year-old woman was arrested for obstruction and hindering apprehension. A 44-year-old man with active warrants also arrived on scene and was taken into custody.
March 8 – Domestic Violence Arrest
At 2:37 a.m., officers responded to a 911 hang-up call on Violet Lane and discovered a visibly upset 33-year-old woman who had been assaulted by her 36-year-old partner. The man was arrested for domestic violence simple assault and lodged in Ocean County Jail.
March 10 – Couple Arrested Following Domestic Altercation
A dispute between a 47-year-old man and his 34-year-old partner escalated when the man allegedly threw a cup containing urine at the woman. In response, the woman physically assaulted him, resulting in injuries to both. Both individuals were charged and released.
March 14 & 22 – Two Drivers Arrested for DWI
Officers arrested individuals for driving while intoxicated on South Hope Chapel Road and East Veterans Highway, respectively. Both drivers exhibited signs of impairment, failed field sobriety tests, and were released with multiple motor vehicle summonses.
March 15 – Warrant Arrest Following Car Accident
Following a two-car collision on Brookwood Parkway, a 40-year-old woman was found to be driving with a suspended license and had an active warrant out of Berkeley Township. She was arrested and transported to the Ocean County Jail.
March 16 – Vehicle Stolen from 60 Acre Reserve Complex
A resident of Azalea Circle reported his 2014 white Ram pickup truck stolen overnight. The vehicle, last seen parked legally in a visitor space, was valued at approximately $28,000. A search of the surrounding area was unsuccessful.
March 18 – Man Arrested for Stealing Roommate’s Car and Phone
A 53-year-old man was arrested after taking his roommate’s vehicle and his roommate’s wife’s phone without permission. He was found at a nearby apartment complex, and officers recovered both the vehicle and the phone. He was charged with unlawful taking and theft.
March 19 – Two Arrests: Drug Possession and Domestic Assault
In the morning, a 40-year-old man was found passed out in a vehicle on Grand Boulevard. He was arrested after officers discovered a crack pipe and unidentified pills. That evening, a domestic violence call on Lace Bark Lane led to the arrest of a 35-year-old man for allegedly assaulting his wife during a dispute over her phone.
March 21 – Suspects Arrested for Obstruction and Domestic Assault

Police were called to a Diamond Road residence after a 33-year-old woman shoved her mother and kicked a highchair containing her 6-month-old nephew. She was arrested and charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
March 24 – Two DWI Arrests and a Domestic Strangulation Case
Early in the morning, another DWI arrest was made on Whitesville Road. Later that evening, a 33-year-old man was arrested for aggravated assault and strangulation after allegedly attacking the mother of his child. The victim, who provided photographic evidence of past abuse, utilized all rights available under domestic violence laws.
March 26 – Nanny Arrested for Child Abuse
A disturbing case of child abuse came to light when the parents of twin 7-week-old infants provided video evidence of their live-in nanny shaking and mishandling the children.
