Renowned singer and Toms River resident Shulem Lemmer recently shared the heartwarming story of a visit he made recently to Eretz Yisroel, during which he met the Belzer Rebbe shlit”a and his Rebbetzin.
Shulem recounts how, after having a conversation with the Rebbe, he gifted him a copy of his latest album, “Kiddush Hashem.”
The Rebbe remarked in response that “It wasn’t so long since you put out your other album.”
Shulem explained that it had been 5 years since he’d released his last album.
Smiling, the Rebbe replied, “And yet, we still haven’t stopped hearing about it!”
“איי איי איי, עס ווארעמט אן מיין הארץ How it warmed my heart!” Shulem said.
