As first reported on Lakewood Alerts Status, a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries late last night after losing control of his bike in Lakewood. The accident occurred shortly before 11:00 PM in the area of Clifton Avenue and Courtney Boulevard.
According to police, the rider lost control and was thrown from his motorcycle, coming to a rest a distance away from the bike. Hatzolah arrived at the scene and provided medical assistance before transporting him to Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC) with multiple broken bones.
A family member provided an update on his condition, writing, “We were able to speak to the nurse and sit with Zevy. He was sleeping but breathing on his own. He is in a lot of pain, and there is a big surgery scheduled for 8:30 AM. Let’s keep davening and doing things in his zechus!”
