Teenager Riding E-Bike Seriously Injured After Being Struck by School Bus in Lakewood

A teenage girl from Jackson riding an electric bicycle was struck and seriously injured by a school bus Sunday morning at County Line Road and Hope Chapel Road.

First responders from Lakewood rushed to the scene, where the girl received initial medical care before being transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with a serious head injury.

Following the crash, investigators closed County Line Road eastbound at Hope Chapel to conduct a full accident reconstruction. The area remained shut down for an extended period as police documented the scene and interviewed witnesses.
