Officer Leonardo Shimonovich arrived on the scene after receiving a call about a suspicious vehicle parked on a side road near the intersection. The vehicle, which had two occupants, was reported by a security guard from IronRock Security, who was monitoring the BMG campus, including the Bais Shalom and Bais Aharon batei medrashim.

Following an investigation, police arrested Juan Domingo-Perez of Lakewood. He was charged with DWI and related offenses.
