Suspicious Activity Leads To Arrest Of Man Outside Bais Medrash Govoha Campus

Lakewood police arrested a 25-year-old man after responding to a report of suspicious activity outside the Beth Medrash Govoha (BMG) campus at 10th Street and Clifton Avenue on January 11, police reported today.

Officer Leonardo Shimonovich arrived on the scene after receiving a call about a suspicious vehicle parked on a side road near the intersection. The vehicle, which had two occupants, was reported by a security guard from IronRock Security, who was monitoring the BMG campus, including the Bais Shalom and Bais Aharon batei medrashim.

Following an investigation, police arrested Juan Domingo-Perez of Lakewood. He was charged with DWI and related offenses.

No further details about the incident were released. Authorities reminded the public of the importance of reporting suspicious activity, which in this case helped identify and address a potential safety concern.
