Suspected Meteorite Crashes Through Roof of New Jersey Home

An object that came crashing through a home’s room and into a bedroom in Hopewell, New Jersey, is believed to be a meteorite, police say.

The rock is described as being 4 inches by 6 inches, oblong in shape, and metallic.

There were people in the home when the rock came crashing through, but thankfully nobody was injured.

The investigation is ongoing as police seek assistance from outside agencies to positively identify the object.
