Suspect Who Shot At Brick Cop Before Turning Gun On Himself, Dies

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that Corey Johnson, 28, of Brick Township, who fired a weapon at a Brick Township Police Officer on August 14, 2023 in Brick Township – and then turned the gun on himself – succumbed to his self-inflicted injuries at approximately 10:15 p.m. on August 16, 2023.
