Suspect Arrested in Vehicle Break-In Spree Thanks to Shomrim Patrol

A man suspected of multiple vehicle break-ins in Lakewood was apprehended this week following a coordinated effort between Shomrim and local police.

Over the past several days, Shomrim received multiple reports of suspicious activity and theft from vehicles in the area. Acting on community tips and surveillance footage, members of the organization’s night patrol identified a man matching the description of the suspect and began discreetly monitoring his movements.

Shomrim members ultimately observed the suspect entering private property. Shomrim immediately contacted Lakewood police, who responded quickly and took the suspect into custody without incident.

Authorities confirmed that the man had outstanding warrants and is now facing charges of theft and other related offenses.
