A hachnosas sefer torah will be taking place today in Lakewood, bringing a newly finished sefer torah written l’zecher nishmas Reb Yossi Czapnik z”l to the Gerrer Shtiebel on 10th Street.
Kesivas osiyos will take place from 8 am until 4 pm at 332 Dewey Avenue, with the procession bringing the sefer torah to the shtiebel beginning at the corner of 10th and Monmouth at 4:45 pm.
Hundreds are expected to arrive at the joyous celebration, with a seuda to take place at 7 pm at the shtiebel at 325 10th Street.
