Boys from across Toms River will gather this Sunday afternoon for a special Summer Tehillim Rally, organized to daven for the safety, health, and the well-being of Klal Yisroel around the world.
The event, geared toward boys ages 3 to 15, will take place at 4:30 p.m. at Khal Bnei Yissuschar, located at 1767 Whitesville Road in Toms River.
The atzeres tefillah is an opportunity to harness the pure tefillos of tinokos shel beis rabban as families begin sending children off to sleepaway camps.
The program will feature divrei chizzuk from Rabbi Babad, the Rav of Khal Bnei Yissuschar, as well as from Rabbi Alex Miller, menahel at Hacham Baruch Ben-Haim Yeshiva.
Children in attendance will enjoy Bravo Pizza, Rita’s Ices, and a host of exciting raffles with prizes including gift cards to Judaica Square, Nutmeg, Toys 4U, The Click, SlimeLight, and more.
I would think that specific mention should be made of the fact that there is a war in Eretz Yisroel and that soldiers put their lives on the line around the clock.
As dangerous as it may be in Belgium or France, mothers and wives there are not dreading a “knock on the door”
which will shatter their lives!
