Six Flags Great Adventure Announces Thrilling New Attractions for 2025 and 2026

Six Flags Great Adventure is gearing up for a transformative future with plans to introduce groundbreaking attractions in 2025 and 2026, backed by a $1 billion investment across the Six Flags Entertainment Corporation’s parks.

As part of its evolution, Six Flags Great Adventure has retired the Parachute Tower, which first opened in 1983 as Parachuter’s Perch. Over its 40-year history, the 230-foot tower provided guests with breathtaking views of the park before a thrilling drop. While the attraction has become a nostalgic favorite, its removal signals a shift toward the park’s ambitious future.

In 2025, Six Flags will debut the first super boomerang coaster in North America, promising a high-speed, adrenaline-filled ride experience unlike anything else in the region.

Then, in 2026, the park will unveil a world-record-breaking launch roller coaster, which is expected to push the boundaries of ride design and deliver unmatched thrills. These attractions are part of Six Flags’ commitment to solidify its reputation as a premier destination for coaster enthusiasts.

The upcoming attractions are made possible by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation’s $1 billion investment across its family of parks over the next two years. This large-scale funding aims to enhance guest experiences, introducing state-of-the-art rides and innovative designs.

Six Flags Great Adventure plans to reveal more details about these new additions next summer.
