Hatzolah of Central Jersey is proud to endorse Lakewood EMS for the prestigious Community Service Award, a recognition given by the New Jersey Department of Health. Lakewood EMS has been nominated for its exceptional contributions to the Lakewood community, particularly its decade-long commitment to providing CPR and first aid training to thousands of residents, township employees, and students.
Lakewood EMS first began providing CPR and First Aid training nearly 10 years ago following a request from the Lake Ridge Adult Community Safety Committee. What started as a small initiative has since expanded to other adult communities, the Lakewood School District, township employees, and, most recently, 64 students from the Police Youth Academy Camp. Through these programs, Lakewood EMS has empowered individuals of all ages with the knowledge and skills to act decisively in emergency situations.
As a collaborative partner of Lakewood EMS, Hatzolah of Central Jersey strongly supports their nomination for the Community Service Award. The two organizations have worked hand in hand for years, ensuring that residents of Lakewood receive the highest level of emergency care.
“Lakewood EMS has been an incredible partner in providing essential emergency services,” said Meilech Esterzohn, CEO of Hatzolah of Central Jersey. “Their CPR and First Aid training programs have equipped countless residents with the ability to make life-saving decisions in critical moments. We encourage everyone to vote for them and show their support for the tremendous work they do.”
Voting is currently open through October 8, and the award will be announced on November 22.
