Lakewood Shomrim, in partnership with For the Babies, will be giving out free “Cleverly” child safety reminder devices outside BMG during two distribution events scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, and Wednesday, May 27.
The Cleverly device plugs into a vehicle’s 12-volt power outlet and issues reminder alerts to check the backseat after the car is turned off. The device also functions as a USB and USB-C charger.
Distribution locations are scheduled as follows:
- Tuesday, May 26: BMG 10th & Clifton and Carey & Forest parking lots
- Wednesday, May 27: BMG 7th & Private Way and 6th & Princeton parking lots
The devices are being distributed free of charge, though a suggested donation of $5 is encouraged to help sponsor additional units.
