During a devastating fire at a Lakewood home on Sunday night, Shomrim members ensured that the affected family was safe and provided food, clothing, and shelter.
The fire, which broke out at around 11 pm, destroyed the family’s home, leaving them stranded and destitute. A bilingual speaking Shomrim supervisor as well as multiple member’s were swiftly dispatched to the scene and made contact with the family to ascertain their specific needs.
Subsequently, Shomrim contacted the Red Cross to get the family assistance, with Shomrim members remaining at the scene of the blaze until 4:30 am to help them in any way possible.
