SHOCKING VIDEO: State Police Release Footage of Tow Truck Slamming Into Emergency Vehicles

The New Jersey State Police has released video footage of a crash last month in which a tow truck failed to move over for emergency vehicles in Interstate 80 and slammed into them, destroying several emergency vehicles.

The left and center lanes of the I-80 in Warren County were closed and flares set up as emergency workers performed their duties at a separate crash when the tow truck came barreling in. A trooper can be seen trying to get the truck to move over before fleeing when he realizes it wasn’t stopping or changing course.

The truck crashed into 3 NJSP vehicles, an ambulance and a firetruck before coming to a stop. The troopers were out of their vehicles and weren’t hurt, but a medic working inside the ambulance suffered minor injuries.
