Shalva High School Granted Unanimous Approval by Jackson Planning Board for Relocation

Shalva High School has received unanimous approval from the Jackson Township Planning Board to relocate to a new site in Jackson. The school was founded in 2017 to provide a nurturing and inclusive educational environment for girls who may not thrive in traditional high school settings.

Currently located at 555 Joe Parker Road in Lakewood, the school plans to move to 417 Basso Street in Jackson, where it will undergo a renovation and expansion project.

The proposal includes constructing a 1,000 square foot addition and a 460 square foot outdoor terrace to the existing two-and-a-half-story single-family home, resulting in a total of 7,600 square feet of space.
