SEE THE VIDEO: FBI Says Antisemitic Hate Has Skyrocketed In New Jersey Since Simchas Torah Massacre

FBI Newark Special Agent in Charge Jim Denehy was interviewed by NJ Spotlight News on Tuesday night, in which he said that both antisemitic and anti-Muslim hate crimes have risen since Hamas carried out the Simchas Torah massacre in southern Israel, but noted that about 75% of the hate crimes seen since then have targeted Jews.

“Right here in New Jersey, not just antisemitic but also anti-Muslim and Arab as well. Probably about a 75 to 25 split between those that are antisemitic and those they’re anti-Muslim,” Denehy said.
