A road rage incident in Lakewood escalated dramatically Thursday morning when one of the drivers allegedly pulled out a gun, culminating in a crash involving both vehicles and the arrest of both drivers.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Cross Street.
According to preliminary information, an altercation developed between two motorists before one of the drivers allegedly brandished a firearm. The confrontation continued and ultimately resulted in the two vehicles crashing on Cross Street.
Lakewood Police responded to the scene and took both drivers into custody.
Both individuals were arrested on weapons possession charges, while the second driver was additionally charged with aggravated assault.
