Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, is currently on lockdown as police investigate reports of a possible active shooter on the campus.
Police never found a shooter, and eventually determined that the active shooter report was due to swatting, in which someone falsely claims a violent incident is taking place to prompt a police response.
