Rep. Chris Smith Endorses Mike Reina in Jackson Mayoral Race

Rep. Chris Smith, the popular congressman who represents New Jersey’s 4th District of which Jackson is included, has endorsed incumbent Mayor Mike Reina in his race against Jackson Council President Marty Flemming, who is vying for his seat.

Smith’s endorsement is the highest-profile endorsement Reina has yet received, and other high-level officials within Ocean County government have signaled they plan to endorse him, as well.

“Mayor Reina will keep holding the line on taxes, advocating for our veterans, and working hard to protect the quality of life in Jackson Township,” Rep. Smith said in endorsing Reina.
