- U.S. Postal Service: All post offices will be closed, and there will be no regular mail delivery. Only Priority Mail Express will be delivered.
- FedEx & UPS: FedEx will operate on a modified service schedule, while UPS will remain open. However, UPS SurePost and UPS Mail Innovations deliveries will be delayed due to the federal holiday.
- Amazon: No delivery disruptions are expected, and packages should arrive as scheduled.
Most banks will be closed in observance of the holiday. The exception is TD Bank, which will remain open on Presidents’ Day.
Financial markets will pause for the holiday. The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Nasdaq, and bond markets will be closed on Monday, February 17.
Most grocery stores will be open, but hours may vary by location. Major shopping centers and retailers will be open as usual.
All New Jersey MVC locations will be closed for the holiday. However, some services will still be available online. All New Jersey state offices and courts will be closed on Presidents’ Day as well.
NJ Transit buses and trains will operate on either a weekday, Saturday, or holiday schedule, depending on the route. Riders should check the NJ Transit trip planner for accurate times.
After Presidents’ Day, the next federal holiday will be Memorial Day, observed on Monday, May 26, 2025.
