President Joe Biden will be at Gov. Phil Murphy’s home in New Jersey on Thursday to fundraise for Democrats a month before the crucial midterm elections.
The event, to be held at Murphy’s home in Middletown, will raise funds for the Democratic National Committee’s Grassroots Victory Fund, and admission to the event will cost donors tens of thousands of dollars.
The trip to New Jersey is part of a broader fundraising visit to the region for President Biden. He is also scheduled to appear at an event in New York City on Thursday as he works to build momentum for Democrats ahead of the November 8 elections.
