Popular Lakewood Wig Salon Shutters Instagram Account Following TAG Event

Sary Wigs, one of the most popular and successful wig shops in Lakewood, announced today that it is shutting down its Instagram account.

“After 9 years and close to 40,000 followers, I have made the choice to close this Instagram page,” Shaindy Braun, Sary Wigs’ proprietor, wrote in a message posted to the account.

“Sary Wigs will continue to thrive and grow – this time in the real world. I took a step back and now I want to step out,” she wrote.

“I choose to leave this world of likes, followers and filters. I will be leaving Instagram to live in the real world. I want to focus on curating my real life, filtering my thoughts and speech and sending love and likes to the important people in my life.”

Mrs. Braun’s announcement came Thursday afternoon, hours after TAG’s Nekadesh event in Prudential Center on Wednesday night that drew over 20,000 women to the arena and thousands more participating remotely.

  1. I don’t know this proprietor but she has a tremendous זכות ❗
    כל הכבוד ❕
Only good things could derive from this!

  2. It’s a great step to leave instagram but please let us know when the lakewood sheitel machers start selling short unnatural wigs or tichels.
That will be spreading emes and kedusha….
The wigs today are the complete opposite of emes and kedusha and the height of hypocrisy -causing many men to stumble.
