Police Reveal Horrifying Details Of How Worker Was Killed In Lakewood

On January 31st the Lakewood Police Department, as well as several other emergency and investigative local and county agencies, responded to the Northern Recycling Center located at 800 Towbin Avenue, in reference to a worker that had been fatally injured.

Upon arrival it was reported that recycling employees were in the process of moving a large container that had just been delivered. At some point during the process, 50 year old Timothy Hannold of West Creek, entered the container.

Unaware of his presence, they continued to try and upright the dumpster causing the doors to shift and pin Mr. Holland up against an inside wall. Sadly, he did not survive.

At this time the Lakewood Police Department would like express their sincere condolences to his family, friends and co-workers.
