Police Investigating Possible Ramming Attack at Evergreen, 1 Under Arrest [PHOTOS & VIDEOS]

The Lakewood Police Department is investigating whether a man driving a box truck intentionally attempted to run over pedestrians in the parking lot of the Evergreen supermarket on River Avenue.

Nobody was hurt in the incident. The driver has been arrested after a brief investigation by police, including a search of the truck.

LNN reports that the incident occurred during a dispute between the truck driver and an Evergreen manager. According to the report, the truck driver, who was delivering fish to the store, borrowed a delivery cart from Evergreen’s delivery manager, after which an argument ensued over whether he had permission to use it.
