The Lakewood Police Department is currently investigating after a deceased body was found on the railroad tracks running next to Lake Carasaljo in Lakewood.
The body – believed to be that of a homeless individual – was found around 5 PM and reported to police, who are now looking into the circumstances surrounding his death.
