The Lakewood Police Department is actively investigating two bank robberies that occurred on June 30th 2023. One attempted, the other successful.
The pictured male entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 425 W Kennedy Boulevard at 3:01 pm, and handed the teller a note demanding money. He left on foot without any proceeds.
At approximately 3:08 pm the same male entered the TD Bank located at 1601 Madison Avenue and handed the teller a note demanding money. He left with at least $1,000 in cash.
The suspect was last seen on walking west on E County Line Road from Madison Avenue. No weapons were displayed at either location. Anyone with information regarding the suspect or these incidents please reach out to Officer Alex Guzman Jr. at 732-363-0200.
