Police Bust Large Amount of Heroin and Cocaine in Coventry

No, not that Coventry. Last Thursday, police concluded a lengthy investigation with the execution of three search warrants at a residence on Coventry Court in Brick Township.

The residential search yielded 250 wax folds of heroin and a large amount of crack cocaine that, when included with the amount of crack cocaine seized from the suspect’s vehicle equaled over 100 grams. In addition to the drugs, an undisclosed amount of cash in the tens of thousands of dollars was also seized, along with a digital scale.

The suspect, Ezra Wheeler (27 years old from Brick), was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, intent to distribute cocaine and intent to distribute heroin. Wheeler’s charges were placed on a summons and he was lodged in Ocean County Jail.
