Numerous patients were injured following a car crash in Lakewood on Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Route 70 at around 4:00PM. One of the vehicles involved overturned and burst into flames.
Arriving Hatzolah volunteers requested numerous ambulances and Paramedics to respond.
At least one victim, a 5-year-old child, was taken to the Jersey Shore Trauma Center with critical injuries.
Sources tell Lakewood Alerts that the crash may have been the result of a road rage incident.
