A patient was seriously injured after being struck on Madison Avenue and 9th Street in Lakewood at around 4:45 pm.
Hatzolah, EMS, and police were all at the scene treating the victim. The pedestrian was transported by Hatzolah to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood.
The area is currently shut as police conduct an investigation.
