PHOTOS: NJ-8 Congressional Candidate Rob Menendez Visits Chasidish Community in Union County

Rob Menendez, the son of Senator Bob Menendez, is the Democratic nominee to represent New Jersey’s 8th Congressional District in the House of Representatives. On Tuesday, he visited the chasidish community in Union County.

Menendez met with various leaders of the Jewish community, including the Sanz-Zvhil Rebbe, who he asked for support in his Congressional bid.

Following his visit, Menendez wrote in a tweet: “We’ll always stand with the Jewish community in the face of rising anti-semitism. And we’ll be visible in our support, which is why it was an honor to visit Mesivta Sanz and Rabbi Prizant today. Mesivta Sanz has been close to my family for years + our bond endures to this day.”

Menendez is expected to easily win his race on November 8th for the deep-blue Union County seat.
