Petirah of Rav Yekusiel Weinstein Z”L, Founder of “Yukes” Shul

We regret to inform you of the petirah of Rav Yekusiel Weinsten z”l, the founder and rav of Lakewood’s famed “Yukes” shul on 5th Street.

A longtime marbitz torah and baal eitzah, Rav Yekusiel was niftar over yom tov at the age of 85.

He is survived by his children: R’ Shimon, R’ Aryeh, R’ Benny, R’ Shaul, R’ Lazer, and Rochel (Sharabi).

The levaya is set to take place at 10 am Wednesday at his shul, 617 5th Street, with kevurah following in Queens.
