Lakewood Alerts regrets to inform you of the petirah of Mrs. Esther Kuperman a”h, who was niftar at the age of 88. She was the devoted wife of R’ Eliezer Kuperman z”l, whose shloshim concluded only days ago.
Reb Eliezer z”l was a beloved figure in Bais Medrash Govoha for over half a century, remembered both for his dedicated service in the yeshiva’s financial office and for his unyielding devotion to Torah learning. A talmid of Rav Aharon Kotler zt”l, he went on to serve as a trusted aide to Rav Shneur Kotler zt”l and to the current Roshei Yeshiva.
Even as he bore heavy responsibilities overseeing budgets and donations, Reb Eliezer could regularly be found deep in a Gemara in the Beis Medrash. His extraordinary balance of avodas hakodesh and limud Torah earned him the admiration of all who knew him.
Through it all, his eishes chayil stood unwaveringly at his side, supporting his limud torah and avodas hakodesh.
The Kupermans resided in the yeshiva apartments on 9th Street and Forest Avenue, where their home was a fixture of Torah and chessed.
Mrs. Kuperman’s levaya will take place at 6:30 PM at the Lakewood Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue.
