Petirah of Mrs. Devorah Rothschild A”H, Mother of R’ Ze’ev Rothschild Z”L

We regret to inform you of the petirah of Mrs. Devorah (Doris) Rothschild a”h, the mother of Rabbi Ze’ev Rothschild z”l.

The wife of R’ Yehonasan (Johnny), Mrs. Rothschild was a daughter of the world-famous Dr. Muller and  a pillar of the Washington Heights community for decades.

She single-handedly ran the Bikur Cholim in Columbia Presbyterian Hospital for many years, assisting an untold number of yidden.

She is survived by her children R’ Yossi, Mrs. Freund, and Mrs. Hasenfeld.

The levaya is tentatively set to take place at 11 AM at the 7th Street Chapel with kevura in Eretz Yisroel.
