A pedestrian walking in the vicinity of Route 9 and Main Street in Lakewood was struck and injured on Monday afternoon.
Hatzolah responded to the scene and provided emergency medical care to the injured party before transporting the patient to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
The area was shut for a brief time as police conducted an investigation into the incident.
