Passaic County Sheriff And Prosecutor Meet With Askanim Ahead Of Yomim Tovim

Today, Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik and Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes met at the sheriff’s office to discuss and address the upcoming Yomim Noraim and Sukkos season.

With Rosh Hashana set to begin on Friday at sundown, the Sheriff and Prosecutor are joining forces to ensure a safe and secure celebration for the Jewish community.

Passaic County is expected to host hundreds of families during this time. Prosecutor Valdes emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards any biased or hate crimes.

Many local families are expected to be in Passaic County over the course of the Yamim Tovim, as well as over the upcoming Chol HaMoed.
