Hatzolah was at the scene of a serious accident at Madison Avenue and 9th Street on motzei shabbos which sadly claimed the life of a motorist.
The accident occurred directly in front of the BMG dormitory on Madison Avenue just before 9 p.m.
One motorist was sadly killed after he went into traumatic arrest, passing away at the scene. A second victim remains in critical condition.
Chevra kadisha services were not needed in his tragic incident.
An investigation into the accident is now underway, with the roadway expected to be closed in the area for several hours.
