The Ocean County Board of Commissioners is encouraging residents and visitors to celebrate Independence Day by attending one of the many professional fireworks displays, concerts, drone shows, and family-friendly events taking place across Ocean County.
Below is the full list of scheduled celebrations:
- Barnegat – July 2 (Rain Date: July 10), festivities begin at 5:00 p.m., Barnegat High School.
- Beach Haven – July 4 (Rain Date: July 5), 9:30 p.m., Taylor Avenue Bayfront.
- Beachwood – July 4 (Rain Date: July 5), 9:00 p.m., Beachwood Beach.
- Berkeley Township – July 1, 9:00 p.m. following the concert, Veterans Park, Bayville.
- Brick Township – July 2 following the Summerfest Concert, Windward Beach Park.
- Jackson Township – July 3 & 4, 9:30 p.m., Six Flags Great Adventure.
- Jackson Township – July 11, Fireworks & Food Trucks, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Johnson Memorial Park.
- Lacey Township – July 3 (Rain Date: July 10), festivities begin at 7:30 p.m., fireworks at 9:15 p.m., Lacey Township High School.
- Lakehurst – July 3 at dusk, Lake Horicon.
- Lakewood – July 3 & 4, fireworks following the Jersey Shore BlueClaws games at ShoreTown Ballpark.
- Lakewood – July 5, Fireworks & Drone Light Show, 9:00 p.m., Lake Carasaljo.
- Lavallette – July 5, 8:00 p.m., Fireworks & Concert, Lavallette Gazebo and Bayfront.
- Manchester Township – June 27, Manchester Day, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Harry Wright Lake.
- New Egypt – July 4 & 5, beginning at 12:00 p.m., Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary featuring food trucks and fireworks at Laurita Winery.
- Plumsted Township – July 11, Red, White & Boom, 5:00 p.m., New Egypt High School.
- Point Pleasant Beach – July 5, 9:30 p.m., Jenkinson’s Boardwalk.
- Seaside Heights – July 4, 9:30 p.m., Seaside Heights Boardwalk.
- Surf City – July 3, 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Bay Beach off 17th Street.
- Tuckerton – July 4 (Rain Date: July 5), at dusk, Lake Pohatcong.
- Toms River – June 30, Ocean County’s America 250 Celebration.
- Toms River – July 7, Summer Concert Series, 7:00 p.m. with fireworks following the concert, Shelter Cove.
- Ocean County Parks Patriotic Concert & Drone Show – July 2, 7:30 p.m., Ocean County Park, 1198 Bandon Road, Toms River.
