Ocean County Officials Tour Juvenile Services Facility Ahead of Planned Renovations

Ocean County Commissioners Sam Ellenbogen and Ray Gormley recently toured the Ocean County Department of Juvenile Services to review planned renovations and discuss long-needed repairs to the facility.

According to Ellenbogen, the improvements are aimed at revitalizing the building, creating a safer and more positive environment, and ensuring that both employees and the youth served by the department have the resources and surroundings they need.

During the visit, the commissioners met with the department’s leadership and staff, who provided an overview of the facility and outlined their priorities for future upgrades. Ellenbogen thanked the dedicated employees for their commitment and daily service, saying their hard work “does not go unnoticed.”
