Senate Republican Leader Anthony M. Bucco met with members of Israel’s unicameral legislature in Trenton to discuss the American political system and engage in productive conversations about bilateral relations between New Jersey’s legislature and the Knesset.
“I had the honor of hosting several members of Israel’s Knesset delegation. Our conversations underscored the enduring bonds of friendship and cooperation between New Jersey and Israel that have existed for more than seven decades,” said Sen. Bucco.
“We addressed the significant challenges that Israel has faced in the wake of their ongoing conflict with Hamas and recommitted our support for Israel and their quest for peace. Our dialogue was an important step in identifying new avenues of collaboration and ensuring that the bilateral relationship between New Jersey and Israel remain strong for many more decades to come.”
The Knesset delegation that met with Senator Bucco included: Boaz Bismuth, Tsega Melaku, Yifat Shasha Biton, and Boaz Toporovsky.
