NJ Office of Homeland Security Maps Out Domestic Terror Attacks, Plots

As part of the annual Threat Assessment, New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness analysts have mapped out 14 extremist attacks, disrupted plots and threats of violence in 2021 by 17 U.S.-based individuals associated with extremist ideologies.

The map below reflects the 14 domestic extremist attacks, disrupted plots, and threats of violence by 17 US-based individuals associated with anti-government, racially motivated, religious, and single-issue groups and ideologies.

Domestic extremists continue to operate individually or coordinate with like-minded individuals online or in person to engage in violence or intimidation. Domestic extremists use a wide variety of attack methods to target civilians, government officials, and public- or private-sector institutions throughout the United States.
