NJ Homeland Security Opens Applications for Security Funding

The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security is accepting U.S. Department of Homeland Security Nonprofit Security Grant Program applications for federal fiscal year 2022. This federal grant opportunity enables eligible nonprofit organizations in New Jersey at the highest risk of terrorist attacks to obtain various security enhancements.

The NSGP provides funding to purchase and install select security equipment on property owned or leased by the nonprofit. Applicants may also pursue investments that strengthen preparedness measures, including training, exercise and planning, as well as hire security personnel pending certain restrictions and requirements.

There are no costs related to the grant application process. Applications must be submitted by May 22.

Visit NJOHSP’s NSGP web page for further details on the program and application process
